Jan,3rd,2015

WOW....here I sit and its taken a while for me to figure out even how to post.
Peace is 15 months old and turns in Feb,13th,2015.....where has the time gone ???
She's a GREAT dog.....Full of energy, likes to fetch and learn and is her own person at times.

Saying that its been an honor to raise her is quite the understatement.
She has touched thousands of soldiers hearts and has a good following at Kittery estates .

I see her with a young adult or even better a child.
where she ends up is up to her, and its that simple.

My New Years resolution is to try and remember how this blog thing works and try to keep up on it until she turns in....( HMMMMM) lets see how that goes)

Trying to get back in the grove

A test for me

So November 7th we had headed down on the Ferry to Medford Long Island New York and spent the night in a Local Motel.
This picture is taken just outside the entrance to the Canine Companions Foe Independence Campus.

Duke and Charlene with their dog Bo and my wife Mary and our Dog Noble

Below is our friend Duke and his Service Dog in Training Bo.
We were on the Ferry  at Bridgeport Conn. and headed to Medford Long Island New York.
This was Duke's first Service Dog that he and his wife have raised.

First time turning in your dog is VERY hard, but we have a GREAT support group and we are ALWAYS there  for each other.

Below is a picture of Bo ( on the left ) and Noble ( on the right)
At this time we were headed down to Medford Long Island New York and emotions run high for us puppy raisers.
We rode down with friends of ours, and shared stories along the way.
Being a puppy raiser , you gain many friends and you become like family...
